So you want to Join the Civilian Authority?

Our Civilian Legisation Association is composed of both Ambassadors and Senators.   These affiliated positions are given to those who wish to take part in discussion of NightWatch duties,  Modification of our codes,  Any current issues,  or changes to the method of operations for the NightWatch.


An ambassador is a designated representative from a city clan who will share their views with the NightWatch.   One may apply for this position by registering an account, then posting a message in this forum, identifying yourself and your intentions.  

A Senator is another civilian position which holds the same merits as Ambassadors,  although Senators do not meet the requirements of a 'clan representative'. To apply as a senator, please also register and post here, or send a PM to an officer identifying yourself and your interests in NightWatch proceedings.   A senator appointment may be given automatically if we recognize that a guest takes an active positive interest in our duties from a diplomatic standpoint.  

Both of these positions are currently non-oathed.    Conduct of ambassadors is designated by the codes of the clan which they represent.   However,   discussion of inter-clan issues, or arguments with other ambassadors over clan issues will not be tolerated as this is a clan-neutral ground.  

The conduct of a senator is generally expected to be similar to that of NightWatch constables.   If it is found that a senator takes part in severe actions with violate our key concepts,  they will be subject to removal.

Unlike Ambassadors,   Senators have the option of registering as a reservist,  or switching their position and registering as a NightWatch Constable.   However,  this switch may only be done once.
