Below is a link for a program called Liam.  It's an interactive map of the city.  Please feel free to use it.  It tells you where the closest bank, transit or pub is.

The Cove has lots of useful information also.  If you're on a Charisma quest, you can post it there along with notifying us here.  You'll have your Charisma taken care of generally the same day you receive it.

A View in The Dark is a wonderful place.  You can find the current Guild and Shop locations and when they are due to move.  Sometimes you can even find hunter locations.

Is the cove not closed as yahoo did away with groups did it not and when clicked on link could not find

It's still there though I am not sure how active it is.
